Bercovitz Design, Inc. began offering architectural design services to the Telluride, Colorado area in 1989 and since then has become one of the most well-established and successful architectural firms in Telluride, Colorado. With about 300 custom-designed homes built, Bercovitz Design has attained a local reputation for creating high-end, top-quality designs. Most Bercovitz Design homes have been built in Telluride and the surrounding areas, including Mountain Village, Aldasoro Ranch, Ski Ranches, and Gray Head. However, a significant number of the projects have also been out-of-state. In fact, Bercovitz Design has designed homes in Long Island, New York; Greenwich, Connecticut; and Santa Cruz, California. Geographical bounds are not a consideration for Bercovitz Design and the firm is willing to take on interesting projects anywhere in the world.
Despite intensely growing demand for Bercovitz Design’s Telluride, Colorado architectural services over the last few years, the company has firmly resisted the temptation to dramatically increase staff, instead favoring quality over quantity. The firm is comprised of two licensed architects, and another two with architectural degrees that are in the process of becoming licensed. Two others provide office and client support. Because of Bercovitz Design’s small size, the firm cannot accept every project it is offered; therefore, Bercovitz Design is currently looking for especially interesting or challenging projects.
